My brand new nephew and love of my life, Daniel Kaine Riley joined us on July 3rd, 2009 at 1:28 a.m. He had Me, Mommy, Daddy, Poppy, Grammie, and Grammie Cathie up all night. We were so exhausted. Dad and Cathie came and picked me up around 7 pm and we drove straight to the hospital which took about 8 hours. We were only there about half an hour when he came into world. He is the most beautiful baby I have ever laid my eyes. I love him soooooooooooooooo much!!!!! He was born with meconium aspiration which means he had a bowel movement inside of my sister and they had to do an emergency c-section. Heather healed pretty well, and was feeling better within a day or so. Daniel had to stay in there for 2 1/2 more weeks, so I went back home to philly. When he finally got better and was able to come home, Me, Uncle Dan, Cristina, Poppy and Cathie came back down. Everyone had to leave the next day, but I stayed for 2 weeks. My nephew sure does have a set of lungs on him. Everyday I was down there his looks changed. To me he is about 95% my sister, but he does have his Daddy's chin, and ears. I had to leave on Aug. 9th and was so sad. He is very spoiled and extremely loved!!!
